THE CASTLE & ITS HISTORY

Dating from the 18th century , the Château l'Hubertière was used as a hunting lodge. Around 1700, a major fire destroyed a large part of the building. This led to its reconstruction in 1909 by Monsieur l'Hubertière in the classical style of the grand châteaux of the Loire Valley.

Located in the heart of a medieval village (Bouresse 86) and tastefully renovated, the château offers a relaxing getaway for families and friends. Surrounded by a hectare of landscaped grounds , this charming 750m² property features a heated indoor swimming pool, a Scandinavian sauna , a foosball table , and a billiards room . Several of the 10 bedrooms have balconies, while others have private terraces.

Ideally located near Futuroscope , the Loire Valley castles , and the Val de Vienne motor racing circuit , the castle also offers a wide range of local activities to discover with friends or family!

This charming 18th-century property features a covered and heated outdoor swimming pool (open from April to October) in landscaped gardens and an indoor Scandinavian sauna . Château l'Hubertière offers several suites, some with terraces or balconies, a large living room, a TV lounge, a billiard room , a foosball table , and a family kitchen. A shaded terrace provides a perfect spot for al fresco dining with panoramic views of the grounds.

*Although the accommodation has the same number of beds, for safety reasons we are not allowed to accommodate more than 15 people .

Located above the renovated former stables, the Squire's Apartment offers views of the castle and its one-hectare park. Comprising a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the main room , it features free Wi-Fi and a terrace.

Equipped with a flat screen TV, a kitchenette with a dishwasher and microwave, and a bathroom.

The apartment can be rented in addition to the castle or individually.

The castle is fully equipped with comforts: 2 dishwashers, 3 refrigerators, a freezer, 3 ovens, a microwave, several coffee machines (capsules, beans, filters) , all the necessary utensils for convivial meals in all seasons (barbecue, raclette machines...) .

You will be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi and private parking on site.

An orchard, stone benches, and a fountain complete the park, where you'll love spending a peaceful holiday with family or friends. To keep both young and old entertained, there's a children's playground on site. Seven bicycles (sizes S to XL) are also available for your use during your stay.
